Monica R. Hayes is a passionate writer and devoted mother of two, with six grandchildren. She is the proud daughter of a 32-year Army veteran and a loving, stay-at-home mother. Her life’s journey has been filled with adventure, perseverance, and a deep commitment to family. Monica’s son, a retired 20-year Army veteran, exemplifies strength and resilience through six deployments, while her daughter continues to lead a successful career and raise a wonderful family.
Throughout her childhood, Monica lived in various Army bases in Germany and France, which allowed her to experience diverse cultures and people. She later worked for a major corporation in Massachusetts before relocating to Georgia, where the Southern lifestyle inspired her to begin writing. After retiring in Georgia, Monica moved to Florida, where she is now enjoying a new chapter in her life.
A single mom who worked full-time while pursuing her education, Monica found joy in being an active part of her grandchildren’s lives, helping shape their futures and sharing precious moments. Blessed with good health and a supportive family, Monica is grateful for the opportunity to fulfill her dream of becoming a writer and public speaker.
